Red Carpet & Performance: Rihanna at the American Music Awards

I think I am slowly becoming obsessed with the gorgeous Ms. Rihanna Fenty. Even though I've been a fan of hers since she first stepped on the scene with her debut hit "Pon de Replay" in 2005 RiRi has been turning head since her "bad girl" transformation.

She performed as the opening act of the 2010 American Music Awards singing her two hit singles, "What's My Name" and "Only Girl".

RiRi rocked a new curly-doo on the red carpet. Check out her performance also.

Rihanna has been making her rounds everywhere this week promoting her newly released album Loud. The fiery-red headed star appeared this morning on ABC's Good Morning America, where she performed her 2 singles, "Only Girl (in the world)" and "What's My Name".

New Video: Keri Hilson - Pretty Girl Rock

This song is my anthem and it should be the anthem to every girl out in the world. This is the video for Keri Hilson's second single, "Pretty Girl Rock", from her upcoming sophomore album No Boys Allowed.

In the video she pays homage to the black women who have paved the way for her in the music industry over the decades. She portrays Josephine Baker, the lovely Ms. Dorothy Dandridge (whom I absolutely adore), Diana Ross, Donna Summers, Janet Jackson, and TLC.



Keri announced on her twitter page that her album, No Boys Allowed, will drop on December 21.

Rihanna released her latest video "What's My Name" featuring rapper Drake today. I am LOVING this video, I've watched it 4 times back to back (maybe because I love the song so much).

Her album Loud will be released this Tuesday November 16. I've listened to the entire album already and absolutely love it. The new music from her has that feel good vibe to it, very sultry & sexy. Not as dark as her last album, Rated R.

New Music: T.I. - Get Back Up (ft. Chris Brown)

Hours after the rapper, T.I., was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his parole he released this song "Get Back Up" featuring Chris Brown.

T.I. addresses his "haters" and apologizes to his fans and those that supported him.

I find it ironic that he has Chris Brown on this track, a person who's also still getting grief from his actions earlier this year.

T.I. has 2 weeks to turn himself in to serve his sentence. I'm hoping within those 2 weeks we will find out when his album King Uncaged will be released-or not.

Boston Celtics 'go hard in the paint'

I found this hilarious video on NecoleBitchie of a few of our favorite "ballers" dancing to Waka Flocka's "Hard in the Paint". Paul Pierce, Shaquille O'Neal, Glen Davis, and Kevin Garnett were having a good ol' time in the locker room Tuesday night.

Hopefully the NBA won't throw a hissy fit and fine these guys.

Artist Spotlight: T. Walker

Bio:
His love for music began early on, becoming influenced by his favorite rapper, DMX. In the 6^th grade, T.Walker joined the school band and began to play the baritone, later also learning the tuba.  During his high school years, he also took interest in recording music but never officially recorded his first song until his freshman year at Winston-Salem State University.  There he linked up with Tony Dice and Young Marcus, growing more as an aspiring hip-hop artist.  In the summer of 2009, what he called a dream grew more into a vision after teaming up with long-time Eastern North Carolina friend, Chedda Chapp.  After joining 24/7 Music Group, T.Walker dropped his first official mixtape, “I Am Technology”, on February 16^th 2010.  


Often being compared to Big Boi, Ludacris, and Joe Buddens, T.Walker strives to create his own lane in steering his way towards stardom, believing that he has something special and creative for ears of the masses.  Only time will tell as he is steadily working on future projects under the 24/7 brand.
